Students

Pathways works with students from all backgrounds and walks of life, and the only requiremens are that students must be working at either a Grade 9 or 10 level, and live in either the Kingsdale-Vanier/Courtland-Shelley community or the Chandler-Mowat community. Pathways to Education is a program that started in Regent Park in Toronto, in an effort to decrease the high school drop-out rate. Over the eight years since it started, the drop-out rate in that community has gone from 56% down to 14%!

Pathways works to ensure that students have all the encouragement and help they need in order to successfully graduate from high school and move on to the post-secondary education of their choice, whether that is a trade-school, apprenticeship, university, or college.
